There are many cycling organisations that are working with young people to promote cycling, either through sport, maintenance or transport.

Download the leaflet below for more information on cycling opportunities for children and young people in Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

Examples of projects set up to encourage young people to cycle include:

  • Cycle Hub - mountain bike training courses
  • Baggator - helping socially excluded young people in Easton to build their own bicycle
  • Bike Generation - Life Cycle's youth project that offers a range of cycling activities specifically for young people aged 9-16
  • Bike Club - helping people aged 10-20 build cycling into their daily lives
  • Go Ride - a cycling programme devised by British Cycling to introduce and engage young people in cycling.

If you are working on a cycling youth project get it listed here by getting in touch with cycling.city@bristol.gov.uk.
