Why do British girls stop cycling?

Here's what an enterprising group of young women have been up to in Darlington to get more girls on their bikes.

They, together with Darlington cycling Campaign, are very supportive of Sustrans' Bike Belles initiative but I know many are concerned about too much emphasis being given to  segregated cycleways which are going to take a long time to apear and make a significant diffference - so don't wait till then!

Maybe Cycling City could foster such a group in Bristol or maybe some of you out there might just start something yourselves. Perhaps we could get a copy of the film and have some screenings in the Bristol area?
