Trip planner

Better By Bike's trip planner is hosted on the national transport and travel site Transport Direct but you can try it out by entering your details in the box on the right hand side. The full trip planner allows users to choose between:

• quick routes, which use the quickest route possible
• quiet routes, which try and avoid busy roads and junctions
• recreational routes, which aim to use traffic free paths and cycle lanes as much as possible.

There are plans for the trip planner to give users more options such as choosing to avoid hills. All four councils in the West of England area worked with Transport Direct to provide this service and we'd really appreciate your feedback.
