School travel maps

FREE customised travel maps for schools in Bristol

The School Travel Plan team have developed these customised maps to help you in your efforts to promote active and sustainable ways of travel. The maps will highlight sustainable travel options to your school and are designed to be displayed in school reception / entrance areas where everyone who uses or visits your school will see them.

The maps will be of A1 size, with your school near the centre, and of a scale appropriate to your catchment area. They will be available in a choice of three formats:

• laminated on a rigid lightweight board;
• paper copy - laminated but not mounted on any board;
• paper copy - unlaminated and unmounted.

Maps should be ready for distribution by the end of January 2010.
Folded pocket sized versions of the map, ideal for year 6 - 7 transition students, visitors, and new families, and website downloads, will be available some time next year - watch this space!

You can see a sample below. One file is a lower resolution 'JPG' image to keep the file size smaller. A higher resolution PDF file is also available.
