Norwegian Network of Cycling Cities visit Bristol

On Wednesday 25th March, 35 members of the Norwegian Network of Cycling Cities came to find out more about cycling in Bristol.

Delegates came from cities and towns including Alta, Oslo, Grimstad, Hamar, Bergen, Tromso and Baerum and organisations including Norway's cycling union 'Syklistenes landsforening'

Members of Greater Bristol's Cycling City team took the delegation on three cycle tours:

• Ride 1: Bristol-Bath Railway Path, Eastville Park and Frome Greenway
  
• Ride 2: Concorde Way and A38 (Gloucester Road)
• Ride 3: The Downs, Ashton Court and the Harbourside

Following the rides, the Right Honourable Lord Mayor of Bristol, Councillor Geoffrey Gollop came to meet the visitors at Bristol's Council House, lending his support to Bristol's drive to get more people cycling.
