Bristol and South Gloucestershire councils are leading on the Cycling City project, working with Bath & North East Somerset and North Somerset councils to promote cycling across the region.
On Wednesday 25th March, 35 members of the Norwegian Network of Cycling Cities came to find out more about cycling in Bristol.
Delegates came from cities and towns including Alta, Oslo, Grimstad, Hamar, Bergen, Tromso and Baerum and organisations including Norway's cycling union 'Syklistenes landsforening'

Following the rides, the Right Honourable Lord Mayor of Bristol, Councillor Geoffrey Gollop came to meet the visitors at Bristol's Council House, lending his support to Bristol's drive to get more people cycling.
