New bike debate

Whilst Bristol has been gripped by a certain televised debate, another debate gripped the Better By Bike team recently - what bike should Ben buy for his girlfriend?

Each of the three main parties got a chance to air his or her opinions.

• The Second-handers recommended a refurbished or recycled bike from one of ten shops in and around the city.
• The Newbies recommended buying a brand new bike from one of the 30 bike shops in the local area.
• And the Trendies suggested blowing the budget and splashing out on a uber-cool fixed wheel bike or a high-quality European cruiser. 

So which way did Ben's vote go?

He bought his girlfriend a white Specialized Globe Vienna (complete with white wheels). We think he's somewhere between a Newbie and a Trendy - can you blame him?
