Leisure riding

Local groups have a wide range of rides from short rides for beginners to long rides for more experienced riders to fast sport rides.

Avon Outdoor Activities Club (AOAC) – is a Bristol multi-activity outdoor pursuits club with about 400 members.
Bath CTC – independent national cycling charity which aims to inspire and help people to cycle and keep cycling.
Bath Cycling Club – caters for a wide variety of cycling interests and a full range of ability and age.
Bristol Cycling Campaign – group involved in campaigns, such as: ‘space for cycling’, ‘freedom to ride manifesto’ and ‘demand for justice’
Bristol South Cycling Club – run a number of events over the year for club members
Bristol Thursday Old Time Cyclists – are a group of mostly (but not all) retired men and women with a shared passion for cycling.
Clevedon and District Road Club – have Sunday runs starting from Clevedon Triangle all year.
Cycle Bag East - is a Touring Cycle Club based in Fishponds. Regular fortnightly rides from 30 – 60 miles.
Cycle Bath – casual rides involve beautiful scenery, cake, sometimes beer, and always great company.
Cycle Bristol CTC - organised cycle rides every weekend all year round.
CycleOut Bristol – cycling group for LGBT people and their friends for Bristol and the surrounding area, organising regular cycle rides and  social events throughout the year.
North Bristol Cycling Club – friendly and laid back road cycling group, our aim is to enjoy our cycling with others who share our passion.
Somer Valley Cycle Club – most Sunday mornings, group members gather outside Bike-It in Radstock to cycle at a gentle pace for between 30 and 60 miles.
Stokes Cycling Club - cycling group set up for people and families to enjoy organised cycling rides in and around Bradley Stoke and beyond for the purpose of pleasure and enjoyment.
Timsbury Cycle Group – group for cyclists in and around Timsbury, Bath and North East Somerset. Regular weekly rides just for fun and to get fit.

Mountain biking, BMX and Cyclo-cross

Stunts and mountain biking clubs.

Avon Outdoor Activities Club (AOAC) – a Bristol multi-activity outdoor pursuits club with about 400 members.
Bristol BMX Club – running since the early 80′s and our track is still in the same location in Patchway, Bristol.
Bristol Mountain Bike Club – a club for mountain bike riders in and around Bristol, plus our friends around the UK and overseas.
The Cheesy Riders - a group of Bristol-based mountain bikers (and now very much roadies) just enjoying the world on two tyres.
Bristol Trails Group - a group that helps maintaining and enjoying the trail network.
North Bristol Mountain Biking Club – friendly and laid back road cycling group, our aim is to enjoy our cycling with others who share our passion.
Cyclo-cross - The Western League series caters for cyclocross racers in and around Bristol. Cyclocross races are great fun, short events, over easy off-road terrain.
Bath Cycling Club MTB Rides – caters for a wide variety of cycling interests and a full range of ability and age.

Road racing

Sports rides with an emphasis on speed and distance.

Bath Cycling Club – caters for a wide variety of cycling interests and a full range of ability and age.
Bristol and District Triathletes - a triathlon club founded to serve multisport athletes of all abilities in the greater Bristol area.
Bristol Road Club – founded in 1927 with the intention of forming a road racing club.
Bristol Development Squad – is based in the Bristol area, our aim is to introduce and support people to try and develop themselves into better cyclists of all standards and across all disciplines.
Severn Road Club – was founded in 1932. The current membership is drawn largely from the northern part of Bristol and South Gloucestershire but we welcome members from all over the south west and beyond.
Sodbury Cycle Sport – an amateur cycling club operating in the Yate/Chipping Sodbury area of South Gloucestershire, UK.
Sommer Valley Road Club – most Sunday mornings, group members gather outside Bike-It in Radstock to cycle at a gentle pace for between 30 and 60 miles.
Velo Club Walcot – We’re in Bath, we ride bikes. Running friendly group rides in the glorious West Country hills surrounding the city.
Weston Wheelers – formed in 1933, in Weston Super Mare, Somerset. We are a small, friendly club and you will be welcome regardless of whether you are a leisure cyclist or a competitive rider.
