Local cycling clubs

There are loads of reasons to join a group or club, to make new friends, find new routes or just enjoy the company of other cyclists.  The local clubs cover all forms of cycling, from leisure riding to mountain biking to road racing, so whatever type of cycling you do, there's something for you.

Here's a list of the biggest local clubs but there are also informal groups that regularly meet, which your local bike shops might be able to tell you about.

If you're into competitive riding, check out British Cycling's events calendar or the Audax UK website to find out about upcoming races.

Leisure riding

Local groups have a wide range of rides from short rides for beginners to long rides for more experienced riders to fast sport rides.
