Perhaps it's that rosy-cheeked exhilaration and being able to justify a cup of tea and a biscuit as soon as you get to your destination. "Pinch points" project gets under way
A series of minor improvements are set to make a big difference to how safe people feel when cycling around the city. New crossing points, cycle-only paths, cycle contraflows, and new signs are just some of the measures on which work has now started in seven locations across Bristol.

Cycling short cut reopens
Construction of a housing development in Lockleaze was finished last month, allowing Wordsworth Road to reopen and once again providing cyclists with a convenient short cut.
Feeding into Wordsworth Road is Dovercourt Road, which is the site of a soon-to-be completed 44m cycle and pedestrian bridge. |

Latest Better By Bike jersey winners
