Routes

There are lots of great routes you can use for a great day out or a longer trip with friends
or family.

Plan your route with cycle maps or a trip planner, or see some of the popular leisure routes already mapped out.

Organised rides

Information on local cycle rides can also be found on the events page and detail about the cycling clubs in the area can be found on the local clubs page.

  • Bath CTC
    The Bath section of the CTC organise day-long Sunday rides for its members. Rides vary in length, but generally there is at least one long (faster paced) and one short (easy paced) ride each month. See programme of rides.
  • Bristol Cycling Campaign
    The Bristol Cycling Campaign organises a series of rides in the local area. See programme of rides.
  • Cycle Bristol CTC
    Cycle rides are organised every Sunday with distances ranging from 15-100 miles with stops for refreshments.On Wednesdays in the summer, there are short, leisurely rides to local pubs and on Wednesdays in the winter there is a clubroom night with presentations, quizzes etc. See programme of rides.
  • Life Cycle
    Two's Company: Life Cycle organises tandem rides for visually impaired children and adults. Find out more on Life Cycle's website.
  • Cyclebag East
    Based in East Bristol and open to all levels of cyclists who enjoy getting on a bike and going for a ride. Rides range from about 20 to 100 miles, usually in the 40 to 60 range. Rides on Sundays and occasionally Saturdays.
