Bristol and South Gloucestershire councils are leading on the Cycling City project, working with Bath & North East Somerset and North Somerset councils to promote cycling across the region.
Cyclescreen is Bristol's first dedicated bike film festival, taking place at the Watershed between Thursday 5 August to Sunday 8 August.
The event brings a weekend full of inspiring cycling films, documentaries, lectures and interactive events celebrating cycling culture in its varied forms.
The event, held in conjunction with Greater Bristol's Cycling City team, will form part of what is a series of city wide events celebrating the diverse pleasures that are to be found from the two wheeled machine.
As well as showcasing some of the best bike films around, highlights also include a pedal powered cinema projecting bike shorts from around the globe, indoor bike racing in the café bar and informative lectures from a cross section of inspiring figures from the cycling community.
