Adult cycle training can help all sorts of riders, from complete beginners to people just looking to improve their skills on the road.

Bristol

In Bristol Life Cycle UK provide training courses. An instructor will meet you at a time and place that suits, providing training that is tailored to your specific needs so that you can become a more confident bike rider

Thanks to a subsidy from Greater Bristol's Cycling City award, Life Cycle UK are offering cycle training lessons for just £5 (that's £25 off the price of a normal lesson).

South Gloucestershire

South Gloucestershire Council offer free cycle training to anyone who lives, works or studies in the county.

Qualified instructors come to you, at a time and place that suits, to provide personalised training to get you more confident on the roads.

  • In partnership with your instructor, a plan will be put together for each training session, with consideration to your abilities, aims and end goals.

  • If basic skills are in place, or once they are mastered, cycle training takes place on the roads

  • All cyclists are eligible for up to three one-hour sessions.

  • Complete beginners (non riders) are eligible for up to five one-hour sessions.
