Bristol and South Gloucestershire councils are leading on the Cycling City project, working with Bath & North East Somerset and North Somerset councils to promote cycling across the region.
The four local authorities in the region have each produced a map for cyclists to help you plan your journey and find the best routes, mainly in urban areas.
These show you the best and quietest routes to shops, to work, to colleges and schools and lots of other places.
There are also plenty of leisure rides, both on-road and off-road for when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore the wonderful countryside in our region.
All the maps below can be downloaded and printed or you can order paper copies to be sent you in the post.
The maps below cover Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset showing traffic free routes, quiet roads, busy roads, contours, the national cycle network, plus the main destinations and attractions in the local area.
