Charity welcomes Sunday Times bestselling author for Fundraiser

Rob Penn, author of Sunday Times bestseller ‘It’s All About the Bike: The Pursuit of Happiness on Two Wheels’ is coming to Bristol on Thursday 20th September to give an exclusive talk in aid of local cycling charity Life Cycle UK.

Penn; who is taking time out from filming Wild Wood, a forthcoming six-part BBC series, to come and give the talk, is best known as a keen cyclist and prolific author. His Sunday Times bestselling book ‘It’s All About the Bike’ has been translated into eleven languages, made into a BBC documentary, and is fast becoming an essential read for any keen cyclist. The book has received praise across the media, including from The Financial Times, The Observer and The Economist, who describe it as a 'Gem of a book'.

The illustrated talk will take place at The Hen and Chicken, 210 North Street, Southville on Thursday 20th September at, 7:30pm. All profits will go towards Life Cycle UK’s inclusive cycling projects, which include Two’s Company - tandem cycle rides for the visually impaired, Silver Cyclists – a project keeping people fit and active in older age and Bike Back - a bicycle recycling project at Bristol Prison.
