Bristol and South Gloucestershire councils are leading on the Cycling City project, working with Bath & North East Somerset and North Somerset councils to promote cycling across the region.

Bristol's Biggest Bike Ride is back and this year promises to be one of the largest free non-competitive cycling events in the UK.
With a choice of four routes ranging from 9 to 38 miles, there’s a chance for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy a fun days bike ride sharing traffic-free routes under Bristol’s iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge and into the beautiful countryside beyond.
After the ride
This years event is part of Bristol's Big Green Week 2012 - The UK's first ever International Festival of Environmental Ideas, Arts & Culture.
Therefore, after the ride pop down to the Harbourside, where you can enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and join in with
the Festival of Nature.
Great food, fun entertainment and loads of other activities will be available.
Remember to bring your bike lock, so you can stay and enjoy the rest of the day’s activities!
