Bristol and South Gloucestershire councils are leading on the Cycling City project, working with Bath & North East Somerset and North Somerset councils to promote cycling across the region.
Life cycle UK has been funded by Cycling City to set up Bike Kitchen’s across Bristol.
A Bike Kitchen provides access to professional tools and advice from an experienced bike mechanic for free. You only pay for the parts you use.
They are happening across the city. Locally, we have teamed up with Jakes Bikes to provide 8 Bike Kitchen’s in this area. So Bring your bike Along!
Dates are: Every Thursday from 6th May - 24th June 6 - 8:30pm
Jakes Bikes, Hamilton House, Stokes Croft
Jake's Bikes is accessed from the back of Hamilton House via City Road. If you cycle along City Road from Stokes Croft, after around 20 metres you will see a car wash yard on the left, and beyond that a large five storey brown office building with a 'Connolly + Callaghan' sign outside. Jake's Bikes is in the ground floor of this office block. There is a grey door leading into the building from the car park and a small Jake's Bikes sign and door bell.
