Bike It project

Bike It is a Sustrans' project that has already quadrupled the number of children cycling to its target schools. Bike It is all about helping children get fit and healthy by teaching them the skills they need to cycle safely and responsibly.

Sustrans' team of Bike It officers work with schools throughout England and Wales, talking and listening to parents, teachers and children, and running a year-long programme of school projects, training, and fun events to get the whole school community cycling together.

The Bike It project is run in conjunction with each local authority. Contact your local authority or visit Sustrans to find out if your child's school is a Bike It school. If you are a teacher and you want to register your own interest visit ask for Bike It.
