Bristol and South Gloucestershire councils are leading on the Cycling City project, working with Bath & North East Somerset and North Somerset councils to promote cycling across the region.
This month our guest speaker comes from Bristol Traffic, Bristol's Premier pro-car, anti-bicycle web campaign (http://bristolcars.blogspot.com) - and will meet Bristol Cycling Campaign members face to face.
In the blogger's own words: "Normally we just beep our horns at them, rev our engines as we wait impatiently behind the tax dodgers ruining our city. Today one of the team members will confront the cyclists and ask them the hard question: what do they think they are doing to our city?"
Plus all the usual stuff - committee updates, lively discussion etc.
All welcome
730pm for a chat and 8pm for the meeting. GUEST SPEAKERS MOST MONTHS. Upstairs at "The Cornubia" pub on Temple St, off Victoria St wwww.thecornubia.com
