A family Bird Bike Ride is being held on 18th April

On Sunday, 18 April, South Gloucestershire Council is holding a Family Cycle Nature Trail – the Bird Bike Ride.

Families can visit any of the stalls and collect a score card. They can then visit the other stalls to collect the bird fact at each. If a child collects two or more bird facts they win a medal which can be decorated.
 
At each stall there will be activities and birds to see, including;

  • A barn owl
  • Face painting
  • Free bike checks
  • A falconry display held at Siston Common at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm.

There will be stalls located along the Bristol to Bath Railway Path at:

  • Fishponds
  • Staple Hill Station
  • Mangotsfield Station
  • Siston Common
  • Warmley Station
  • Grimsbury Farm

The event starts at 10am and finishes at 3pm, with last entry at 2pm.
